The food here was nice, and the portion sizes were good too. I also ordered a slice of cake, but it was really hard. Taste-wise, it was okay, but the texture definitely needs improvement.

I recently visited this cafe on a week day. The ambiance of the place is calming. Soft lighting, comfortable seating, and an overall tranquil environment makes it an ideal place to relax or have a quiet conversation. Unlike many busy cafes, this one maintains a peaceful atmosphere that encourages you to stay and enjoy your time without feeling hurried. The food here is truly delicious. Each dish I tried was truly delicious. The portions are generous and offer excellent value for money, making it a great spot for both a light snack or a more substantial meal. They serve vegan options as well. They have a parking area which is a major plus point for me. Overall I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Kandy.

Chill vibes for sure, they have parking, really friendly service- I left a 20% tip as well. Great food, we tried the chicken beagle, tandoori wrap and pasta. Super soft and very tasty. Pasta was alright, but not work for LKR 1800. Other two, definitely worth it. Enjoyed a B1G1 free offer of cappuccino as well. Overall, this place deserves 5 stars

Café Lavia – Kandy is a calm and quiet spot, perfect for a relaxing meal. They have both indoor and outdoor dining, along with an open kitchen, so you can watch the food being prepared while you dine. The washrooms are clean, which is always a plus. They serve Halal food, and the menu offers a good variety. I tried their pasta, which was the best, and their sandwiches, which looked like burgers and tasted great. For coffee, they offer one-shot and two-shot sizes. I didn’t pay much attention and ordered a two-shot mocha, which turned out to be too big for me—one shot would have been enough! Parking is available for about 4 vehicles, but street parking is also an option. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, adding to the overall great experience. A nice place to visit if you're in Kandy!

Had a lovely time at Cafe Lavia! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a nice balance of modern and homely vibes. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the food was fresh and well-presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. A great spot to relax, enjoy good coffee, and watch the world go by in Kandy. Highly recommended!
